Postman shot by airgun on rounds in Clayhall. Submitted: 24 Oct 2001 A postman was shot in the elbow with an airgun as he was doing his round in Rushden Gardens. He is in a lot of pain and cannot stop thinking about it, and is waiting for hospital test results to see if any nerves have been damaged. Deliveries in the area have been suspended until an enquiry has been completed, residents affected have been told to collect their mail from the sorting office. Have something to say on this story?
