Proposed Budget will benefit services | Submitted: 10 Jan 2002 | Redbridge Council's Labour Group's budget, which will go under further consultation next month, proposes to put up the money to save Sir James Hawkey Hall, Woodford Bridge. It also proposes that Council Tax should be put up by only 1.8 per cent, although the Greater London Authority precept set by London Mayor Ken Livingstone, may push this up to 34 per cent.
