A letter to Ilford is worth £500!! Submitted: 16 Jun 2002 A letter dated in 1911 sent to Mrs Noble in Colenso Road, Seven Kings is expected to reach £500 at auction. It came from Tuvalu in the West Pacific, formally the Ellice Islands. It is so valuable because there was a stamp shortage at the time and was marked with ink marks instead and that there is very litle mail from the Ellice Islands in existance.
