Woodford Green based teenage hacker walks free Submitted: 03 Feb 2004 A teenager from Woodford Green who caused a full-scale alert at a US nuclear weapons laboratory by hacking into it walked free from court. Two years ago, the student, now 18, developed software to crack in to it to use its storage and bandwidth capacity to share files like films and music with his friends.
