Benefits cheat jailed for fraud worth £250,000 | Submitted: 21 Jun 2001 | Nigerian born Abdul Bello of Ashgrove Road was jailed after pleading guilty to 25 charges of false accounting and deception. He had up to 300 different identities, used to apply for credit cards and benefit awards. He is said to have stolen letters from bins to get the names and addresses for credit card applications.
