The Mirage is a popular place. Good portions if you are a meat lover. Prices are pretty good too. Only downside is if you are a vegetable lover. They can''t seem to do roast potatoes. The boil and fry them!! Good meze though and friendly staff. Small and buzzy. Interesting for a night out if you are bored.

Corner of Eastern Avenue and Ley Street. Small family run Turkish restaurant, with a a good and varied menu. Friendly staff, wonderful food, huge portions, very, very popular. When you''ve been once, you will return. Prices are reasonable.

The Redbridge Samaritans. Mildmay Road, Ilford. (020) 8553 9900. Always there when you need them. Also seeking listening volunteers
