| Terence, I left Ilford in 1977 at the age of 26.75, having been there since the age of 9. I used both Valetines Park, and Loxford Park especially a fair times and for school football. I am now in the Leicester Navy and surf the internet. It's not quite the same is it really? |

| I left Ilford in '72 at the age of 22 having grown up there. It seems rather odd now looking back and remembering the many happy hours I spent in the Park, rowing, walking, playing football and the open air swimming pool where I learnt to swim at the age of 8.
I now surf in the waters of Australia! |

| I lived at 67 khartoum road until 1964.Went to Loxford sec. school 52-56 and recall teachers like Little and Hutchins who loved using the cane.We often went to the lido in Barking park and also the cinema flea pit in Barking. As a teenager was a regular at the Ilford Palais, the Mocha cafe almost opposite and the town hall when they held traditional jazz nights. Great times but not sorry to eventually leave Ilford. |

| I think in the 1740's Ilford was 2 villages. Great Ilford and Little Ilford. Hence Little Ilford Lane. |
