I agree about Oaklands Park Ave, I cut through there to go to the gym. I feel sorry for the people who have to live down there, some people try to make their houses look nice but there is always so much rubbish there. It is also true about the rats, my friends and I have seen them run across the pavement in front of us. Cant something be done about this little Street??

Len Scambler was enquiring about contact with former pupils of Clark's College in Ilford. You, and any others, may like to get in touch with the Old Clarkonians Association through our new website www.clarkscollege.co.uk. The link to Simon Botwright will put you in direct contact.

My family lived in Ilford in the early 1900s,i bet its changed some what since then! A lot of my relatives still live in Essex but not in Ilford. My Great Aunt was to be the first Mayoress of Ilford. I wished id been brought up in Essex, rather than West London.
