Does anyone know of the whereabouts of Paul Leslie, Bill Conn, Robert Bryan or Keith Brooks? We all went to Loxford Secondary School in the early sixties.. Ilford was a great place then..I still miss it even though I\'ve been in Cambridgeshire now for nearly forty years..... oh happy times..

I think that cafe you are thinking of might have been either \'Daves\' or \'Davis\'s\'.....one was near the Broadway and the other was near the Cauliflower on the way to Seven Kings

Had great times in Ilford during the 50\'s and 60\'s. Was at Loxford Sec School from 52-56 and recall cane happy teachers such as Little and Hutchins. After leaving school served an apprenticeship on the railways at the Ley street depot. Made many good friends such as Jerry Wealthy, Cliff Hugget, Peter Burgess, Mickey Flynn. Left Ilford in 64 when i got married. It would be nice to hear from old acquaintances.

I lived in Mortlake Road and my grandmother lived in Windsor Road - the Ilford Lane end.Remember a number of shops in Woodlands Road and Ilford Lane when she sent me on errands - mostly to the off-licence!

I went to Cleveland Junior Boys school in the 60s. Mr Faulkner was the headmaster. Teachers included Mr Harrington, Eric Long, Mr Walters. Tough bunch - but usually(?) fair.
