Whipps Cross patient may have died unnecessarily | Submitted: 06 Oct 2001 | A father of three died at Whipps Cross University Hospital when it is possible that he could have survived. He was taken to hospital after being found vomiting sitting in a chair after he had earlier fallen against a radiator and burned his arm. At hospital he died after waiting nine hours without treatment. It then took a further 36 hours to notify his family.
