Double yellow line fiasco! Submitted: 17 Nov 2002 Double yellow lines were placed around Aldersbrook Primary School. However, when they are being placed, there was a car in the way. so the workmen had to just work around it. People have been parking in the unpainted gap between the lines, caused by this car! This has been happening for years, a spokesperson for Park Neighbourhood Watch says. He also adds that between 10pm and 10:15pm every day traffic wardens check the spot and if a car does not fit in the gap or even just touches a line, a parking ticket is issued, so if you know about this spot, pick a different time to park there!
