View along Barkingside High Street

On the right is a view down Barkingside High Street.

Starting at Fullwell Cross roundabout there is Barkingside Library. Go here to borrow books! They also have Internet terminals (book before use) so you can browse this site from there. Find out about local events. Then is Fullwell Cross Swimming Pool and Recreation Centre.

At the other end of the street is a Sainsburys and a Tesco, a police station and the headquarters of the children's charity, Barnardos.

In between are:

• Various restaurants & takeaways including: KFC, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Yoshi's bagels and The Cheesecake Shop.
• Various banks including: HSBC, Halifax, Nationwide, Abbey National.
• Other shops include: Ladbrokes betting, Dixie Warehouse household general, Choices fashion, Rossi Bros ice cream (yum), Woolworths, a money transfer shop, a Chinese medicine shop, even a Psychic development shop! Also Bakeries, about three greetings card shops, specialist gift shops.

A Weetabix advert was filmed here in August 2001, showing Superdrug and next-door Percy Ingle bakery and Atkinson's Sports opposite on the other side of the road.
