I was in Ilford between 1987-1992. Great place, great people. Was recently there again and i have to say, the place is coming up, gyms, cinemas, shopping centers, coffee shops and even a street market! I cant see many towns comparing to this. I now live in Edinburgh, Scotland. For all those who went to loxford (Shehzad, Alkesh, Ian, Mustafa, Tanuja, Ediz, Claire, Natasha, Shaban, Nasir and the rest) I still remember you shumucks. Love ya all.

Hello old friends. I lived in Gants Hill until 1973 and went to Gearies Juniors and Secondary until we emigrated to Canada. Things are great here. I live just outside of Toronto. I'm very happily divorced and am currently living my childhood dream of being an actor. I have fond memories of old friends Malcolm Fagleson, Perry Summers, Perry Colman, Craig Golding, Michael Germaine, Gary Isaacs, Sharon Graham, Sharon Waterman, Lisa Pollack and Michelle Altman to name just a few. I'd love to hear from any of you who remember me. Email me [on the email address above] Smiles and laughs. Daryl. Smiles and laughs.

I was born Dec 31 1930 at a house on Belgrave Road owned by a couple by the name of Mainwarring. My parents were Canadian, my father having served in the Canadian Army in WW1. We moved to Newbury Park in 1933 and I went to Downshall Road School before moving to Slough, Bucks in 1937 and came to Canada in 1948. Have only passed through Ilford once since then, but did visit Newbury Park a couple of times. Now happily retired on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, after 42 years as a Banker. Taking after my father, I am an ardent fisherman and hunter. From my time in 153 (Slough) Squadron Air Training Corps, became interested in aviation. Have a Private Pilot Licence and now have over 2500 hours, mostly flying a Cessna 180 which I have owned for the past 33 years.
