"News last updated 12 Feb 2006"! Does that mean nothing newsworthy has happened in Ilford for nearly six months? What a boring place it must be!

Oh! Bright Ilfordites of the world unite and take over, a heartless hand on my shoulder, hand it over! Hand it over! Hand it over...a push and it's over. Their weakness is a listed crime, the place is grime but last night the plans of a future war, was all I saw on Channel Four. Ilfordites of the world unite and take over!!

Actually, I did register for the forum but never received a password. So even though I'm listed as a user, I can't get onto it to post.

| Must admit that on reflection you may have a point but I think it only appears that way because there aren't enough registered folk posting. The more the merrier I reckon.

I lived in Ilford from 1939 until 1953, with brief absence for WWII. Lived in The Drive, then Cowley Road, went to Highlands School then Girls County High School, Ilford (1948-1953). Moved to California in 1975 but still visit. Does anyone know how big Valentines Park is?
