  • Redbridge Music Service Choral Festival took place
The Redbridge Music School biennial performance at the Royal Albert Hall took place. 1968 performers from 55 schools took part in the choral festival. I have not found out if pom poms were used for any songs, they were banned last time for being a fire hazard. Having participated in two of festivals myself, I know that the children involved will NOT forget the experience for the rest of their lives. It is quite an experience, the size and acoustics of the hall are amazing and to be part of a choir that size is unforgettable.
