    Two groups of teenagers were mugged of their mobile phones last Thursday night in two separate incidents along the same stretch of road in Woodford Green.

    House prices in Redbridge soared last year. The average price rose by 19.6 per cent, where the coverage throughout London is 14.3 per cent. Short commuting distances to London are thought to be the main reason.

  • Angina suffering off-licence owner attacked.
    An off licence owner who also suffers from angina was attacked at her store in Perth Road. The robbers got away with 100 GBP from the till. As a result, she suffered a major Angina attack and had to go to hospital.

  • Two Redbridge students awarded Princess Diana Memorian Award!
    Two students at Woodbridge High School have been awarded the Princess Diana Memorial Award for their 'Trust and Tell' scheme which aims to eradicate bullying by visiting all the year 7 classrooms and building up trust with students. They open a room every day for for these pupils to share their problems with them.

  • Bomb scare at Newbury Park Station!
    At 9:26am on Monday a suspicious black briefcase (i.e. unattended) was found on a tube train. All approaches to the station where the train was being held blocked by police. Both directions of Eastern Avenue were shut and a bomb disposal robot was even called in to examine it. It was harmless in the end.
